Description
This two-phase qualification process seeks contractors to perform dredging at Admirals Beach Small Craft Harbour, including dredging the harbour basin and channel, removing and disposing of sediments, boulders, debris, and other dredged materials at approved upland facilities, and providing marine survey, dredging-control, and verification services. The scope also includes environmental protection measures for sediment migration, fish habitat, and pollution prevention, as well as coordination with harbour users, marine traffic, vessels, floating equipment, and construction activities. Phase 1 requires evidence of two successfully completed marine construction projects within the last seven years and proof of active, good-standing registration with WorkplaceNL. Qualified bidders may advance to Phase 2, where they will receive specifications and drawings and submit a financial bid. The work must be completed by March 31, 2027; the estimated contract period is four months, with a proposed start date of November 9, 2026.
