Description
The School District of Osceola County is soliciting proposals for Category One Internet access and data transmission services, including Internet access, leased dark fiber, leased lit fiber, Category One network equipment, and related maintenance and operations. The FCC Form 470 identifies 76 eligible entities, with Internet access capacity ranging from 25 Gbps to 100 Gbps, leased lit fiber capacity ranging from 5 Gbps to 100 Gbps, 912 fiber strands for leased dark fiber, and network equipment and maintenance supporting 5 Gbps to 100 Gbps service. Installation and initial configuration are required for the requested services. Respondents must submit all documents electronically through VendorLink. The opportunity includes the associated RFP and pricing attachment identified in the FCC Form 470, and questions must be submitted through the VendorLink question function. Existing scope information also identifies DDoS mitigation, network design, demarcation, service-level commitments, outage response, and related fiber installation and special construction requirements.
