Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking quotations for six kits of streptococci group A detection test kits under four purchase requests. Each kit must provide 25 tests for rapid detection of group A streptococcal antigen from throat swabs and beta-hemolytic colonies recovered from culture. Required components include individually packaged test cassettes, extraction reagents, sterile throat swabs, tubes and tips, positive and negative controls, a package insert, and a procedure card. The kits must be stored at room temperature and have an 18-month, non-extendable shelf life, with no more than two months elapsed from manufacture to delivery. The solicitation also requires applicable medical packaging, marking, labeling, and FDA-related regulatory compliance. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
