Description
The City is seeking a contractor to replace the Hynson Bayou pedestrian bridge on Masonic Drive. The project includes a timber bridge measuring 50 feet long by 8 feet wide. The estimated construction cost is $100,000. The contract duration is 30 working days, with an assembly period as needed to manufacture the timber bridge components. Bidders must hold a Louisiana license for Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. A bid security equal to 5% of the base bid is required; the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory to remain eligible to bid.
