Description
The United Nations Development Programme, on behalf of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, seeks eight personal radiation detector units for customs and border-control operations in Bangladesh, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. The detectors must use a NaI(Tl) scintillation detector with photomultiplier tube, provide specified dose-rate and energy ranges, support Cs-137 and Am-241 response requirements, include natural-background rejection, simultaneous visual, audible, and tactile alarms, achieve at least IP65 protection, operate for at least 500 hours on standard alkaline batteries, and meet ANSI N42.32 or IEC 62401 standards. The scope includes supply and delivery, at least a 12-month warranty with replacement of defective components at no additional cost, and end-user training delivered online or on site. Bidders must submit technical and financial proposals, a completed technical compliance sheet, company and eligibility documentation, evidence of at least two similar assignments completed within the last three years, and the manufacturer's product brochure, technical datasheet, and supporting compliance documentation. Quotations must be submitted through the designated supplier portal.
