Description
The U.S. Department of State seeks a hotel to provide lodging and hospitality support for its Consular Leadership Development Course. The requirement includes approximately 40 guest rooms (with a stated range of 35–50), two club-level or equivalent VIP rooms, large and small meeting spaces, and food and beverage service. The hotel must meet the solicitation’s stated room, meeting-space, and refreshment requirements, including separate refreshment setups for sequential small-group meetings. The hotel must also provide audiovisual equipment, conference-room and lunch-area Wi-Fi, business-center access, and at least 100 pages of complimentary black-and-white photocopying. Office supplies and transportation for 45 people are optional/preferred items to be priced or noted. The solicitation requires an established hotel business with a permanent address and telephone listing in Thailand, at least five years of hotel-business experience, and a minimum four-star rating under the stated Thai rating standard. Lodging, conference space, and catering may not be subcontracted without prior written approval; the agency seeks a direct purchase order with the hotel.
