Description
The District seeks qualified contractors to provide as-needed maintenance, inspection, diagnostics, repair, rehabilitation, testing, and related support for its crane fleet, including truck-mounted hydraulic cranes. Work may include hydraulic, structural and boom, hoist and lifting, swing and outrigger, control, and safety-system repairs. Contractors must provide qualified personnel, tools, equipment, materials, replacement parts, testing, written findings and estimates, and repair documentation; replacement parts must meet or exceed OEM specifications, and non-OEM parts require prior written approval. The District intends to award multiple contracts by crane model, with no guaranteed minimum work. Compensation is time and materials. The term is two years, with three one-year renewal options at the District’s discretion. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years in business and five years of relevant experience, including experience servicing specified or equivalent truck-mounted hydraulic cranes. The proposal requires a technical file and a separate cost file using the provided cost form. Technical content includes firm and staff qualifications, references, approach, and required completed forms. The technical proposal is limited to 25 electronic pages, subject to stated exclusions. The resulting agreement restricts subcontracting without the District’s express written approval.
