The National Weather Service's National Reconditioning Center is seeking capability information and potential quotes for evaluating and repairing six Beverly Microwave limiters, part number BS-2000-320-0000 and ASN R400-2A5A1. The contractor must furnish labor and materials to restore the equipment to like-new operating condition and appearance, meeting the original manufacturer's specifications and tolerances. Equipment that does not meet those conditions after evaluation and repair must be reworked at no additional cost to the government. This is a sources-sought notice and not a request for proposals. The government anticipates a potential one-source acquisition from Communications & Power Industries Electron Device Business, Inc., Beverly Microwave Division, the original equipment manufacturer, but may compete the requirement based on responses. Interested firms must provide capability information, relevant repair references, and a quote including evaluation and repair cost per unit, return shipping if applicable, and estimated delivery schedule.
