Description
The U.S. Army is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency repair, calibration, parts procurement, testing, and sustainment services for specialized laboratory and analytical equipment supporting the 1st Global Field Medical Laboratories. The equipment inventory includes radiation dosimeters, liquid and gamma counters, an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, a multi-threat monitor, a wind/weather meter impeller, a HEPA-filtered PCR chamber, a laboratory gas generator, a cryotome microtome, and precision laboratory balances. The contractor must provide all personnel, labor, tools, diagnostic equipment, supplies, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform the work in accordance with OEM specifications, Army metrology standards, and NSF/ANSI standards. Requirements include a minimum 95% operational readiness rate, completion of scheduled maintenance, active calibration certificates, two-hour corrective-maintenance response, repair or replacement within 48 hours, OEM-sourced replacement parts, detailed technician and certification reports, and warranty coverage for labor and parts. Services will be performed on site at designated government facilities, with a one-year base period and four optional years.
