Description
The City of Bismarck is soliciting bids for construction of a new three-bay, 12,000-square-foot fire station. The project includes CMU walls in the apparatus bay, wood-stud construction for the living quarters, a brick veneer and EIFS exterior, and a standing-seam metal roof. Bidders may submit for the general, mechanical, or electrical prime contract, or submit a single combined bid covering all three scopes. Each bid must include a separate envelope containing a bidder’s bond equal to 5% of the full bid amount, including add alternates, executed by the bidder and a surety authorized to do business in North Dakota. A current North Dakota contractor’s license or renewal, licensed for the highest amount of the bid, must be included in that same envelope. The successful bidder must execute the contract and provide performance and payment bonds within 10 days after notice of award. Bids are submitted by mail or delivery to the City Administration Office; the public bid opening is open to interested parties.
