Description
The City of Arlington is soliciting bids to construct a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of SR 530 and Smokey Point Boulevard. Work includes roadway excavation and paving, stormwater facilities, new water and sanitary sewer infrastructure, sidewalks and ADA features, illumination and intelligent transportation systems, traffic control, pavement markings, and landscaping. The project includes multiple bid schedules and requires at least 15% apprentice labor hours, subject to accepted good-faith efforts. Bidders must submit the provided proposal forms and a bid deposit of at least 5% of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount, and required insurance before work begins. The project must be physically completed within 120 working days; no contract start date is specified.
