Description
The City of Calgary seeks an integrated, fully managed network solution for the Wave Tech Centre, including design, equipment, implementation, and ongoing operations. The scope combines LAN switching and routing, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, firewalling, and a private indoor and outdoor 5G test environment, with connectivity to two remote sites over City-supplied single-mode fibre and dual-ISP internet connectivity. The network is intended to remain air-gapped from the City's operational network except for integrations specifically approved by the City. The provider will deliver secure co-management, monitoring, reporting, lifecycle management, and knowledge transfer. The private 5G environment must support technical spectrum compliance, including required documentation and usage artifacts; the City retains responsibility for the spectrum license. The notice states an estimated 35-month contract period and a proposed start date of February 1, 2027.
