Description
NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center has developed an innovative 3D-printed injector system designed to minimize boil-off during cryogenic fluid transfer and storage. This technology features an augmented thermodynamic venting system (TVS) that gradually cools receiver tanks, improving efficiency and reducing the need for continuous venting. The injector is a compact, 3D-printed component suitable for integration into various ground and space-based cryogenic fluid systems. It may also be employed for long-term storage applications when paired with a recirculation pump. Companies interested in obtaining license rights for commercialization, manufacturing, and marketing of this technology are invited to submit an application through NASA's Automated Technology Licensing Application System (ATLAS). License rights may be granted on an exclusive or nonexclusive basis, potentially including specific fields of use. NASA is not providing funding in conjunction with these potential licenses.
