Bowie Independent School District is soliciting bids for multiple E-Rate-related technology needs. The requested equipment includes licensing for 200 wireless access points for a five-year term beginning September 14, 2027; six APC Smart-UPS C 1000VA rackmount units; eight APC Smart-UPS On-Line 2200VA rackmount units with network cards and extended runtime; six Cisco Catalyst 3850 PoE+ 48-port switches or equivalents; and five Aruba HPE 505 wireless access points or equivalents. Prices must include shipping, and the wireless access point offerings must include the five-year license. The district is also requesting bids for internet access and data transmission service with capacity between 2 Gbps and 5 Gbps.
