Description
GRTC is soliciting bids for the annual, as-needed purchase and delivery of new, genuine OEM Gillig bus parts or approved equivalents for maintenance, repair, and operation of its revenue fleet. Parts must meet applicable OEM specifications, include manufacturer warranty documentation, comply with applicable laws and FTA Buy America requirements, and be properly packaged for delivery. GRTC may order parts through purchase orders or other authorized ordering documents and may reject and require replacement of damaged, defective, incorrect, counterfeit, unauthorized, or nonconforming parts at no additional cost. Bidders must price only items they can certify as Buy America compliant and must use the provided Exhibit A and Exhibit A-1 pricing schedules. Exhibit A-1 is also the Approved OEM Parts Schedule. Approved equivalents must be submitted through Beacon Bid for review by the stated deadline and must satisfy the solicitation's requirements for fit, form, function, quality, and performance. GRTC anticipates awarding one contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the lowest evaluated price for eligible items, but reserves the right to award by item, groups of items, or total evaluated bid. The contractor must perform at least 30% of the work with its own organization, and annual price increases may be considered in accordance with the Producer Price Index.
