Description
Jackson County’s Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide crews for tree removals, tree trimming, and stump removals along primary and local roads. The base hourly rate must include a minimum five-person crew, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision; specified equipment includes an aerial truck, chip truck, chipper, and chainsaws. The contractor must also provide traffic control, clean work sites, maintain daily work logs, and comply with applicable Michigan transportation, safety, and tree-care standards. Additional hourly rates are requested for extra crew members, an overhead crane with operator, stump grinding with operator, and cleanup/topsoiling/seeding services.
