Description
The City of Syracuse is seeking qualified contractors to provide on-call evaluation, diagnosis, and repair services for its Traffic Signal System's fiber-optic communication network. The work primarily involves troubleshooting and repairing fiber-optic infrastructure, including damaged cables, communication loss, and related issues. The contractor must have the necessary tools and equipment, including bucket-truck access and possibly excavation equipment. Tasks may extend to broader system components such as traffic signal cabinets, communication hardware, layer-2 switches, splice trays, patch panels, and controllers. The contract will be for a 9-month base period with two one-year renewal options.
