Description
The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is soliciting white papers for a two-phase effort to develop a Mobile Integrated Launch Capability (MILC). Phase I involves detailed design and analysis of candidate concepts, including engagement analysis and prototyping cost information. Phase II includes prototyping, ground testing, and launch of a target system from a designated location. The goal is to provide innovative, cost-efficient alternatives to current air drop C-17 target launches, with rapid demonstrations of mobile launch platforms capable of deploying short to long range target missile systems from multiple locations worldwide. Concepts must utilize open system architecture standards and maximize use of COTS/GOTS components. The period of performance is up to 6 months for Phase I and up to 24 months for Phase II. Selected awardees must have an active Secret Facility Clearance Level.
