Description
The Ministry of Finance of The Bahamas is soliciting qualified caterers to prepare and deliver daily lunch and dinner meals to designated Royal Bahamas Defence Force outposts. The contractor must provide food, ingredients, biodegradable or composite containers and utensils, labor, transportation, staffing, contingency arrangements, and all other resources required for continuous service, including weekends and public holidays where required. Meals must be freshly prepared, properly portioned, safely packaged, and compliant with applicable food-safety and public-health requirements. Each meal must generally include a protein, complex carbohydrate, two sides, and one approved beverage. Tenderers must submit priced menus inclusive of VAT, a current business license, tax compliance documentation, health certificates for food-handling staff, completed tender forms and declarations, and other required compliance documentation. A performance surety equal to 10% of the total contract value is required. The supplied tender package identifies several quantities, locations, dates, and contract terms as requiring confirmation before final issuance.
