Description
The California Department of Food and Agriculture is seeking 100 gallons each of liquid Cuelure and liquid Methyl Eugenol for monitoring exotic fruit flies threatening California agriculture. The products must meet specified chemical purity and physical-property requirements, including minimum purity levels of 95% for Cuelure and 98% for Methyl Eugenol, and must be supplied with a Certificate of Analysis for each unique lot or batch. Both products must be packed in 20-kilogram HDPE 5-gallon containers with specified overpack dimensions and leak-resistant packaging. Containers require permanent labels identifying the manufacturer, lot or batch number, contract number, manufacture date, storage and handling instructions, quantity, stock number, and product contents. Pricing must include freight, shipping, and handling, and only FOB Destination responses will be accepted. The solicitation is awarded on an all-or-none basis, and the products are subject to inspection, testing, and a one-year product-life guarantee.
