Description
Freeport Public Library is seeking bids or proposals for Category One Internet access and data transmission service with capacity from 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps. The procurement also includes any Category One network equipment necessary to make the Internet connection functional, with installation and initial configuration identified for both service requests. Proposals must identify the proposed service solution type, such as fiber, copper, microwave, or coax; projected eligible monthly recurring taxes, fees, and other charges; shipping charges where applicable; and a scope of work for any installation services. Bidders must provide their Service Provider Identification Number, maintain a current Service Provider Annual Certification on file, clearly separate eligible and ineligible products and services and associated costs, and include a contact person's name, phone number, and email address. One-year and multiple-year contracts with voluntary extensions may be considered, and service is expected to begin July 1, 2027.
