Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District, seeks one firm-fixed-price supply contractor to fabricate, assemble, inspect, paint, and deliver four trunnion blocks, eight arm bushings, four MK 4 strut pins, four MK 5 strut pins, and one lot of miscellaneous parts for the Nickajack Lock Miter Gate System. The contractor must provide all materials, labor, supervision, quality control, and shipping, using the specified modern material substitutions and contract drawings. The work includes dimensional fabrication and machining, bronze bushing preparation, protective coating of applicable steel surfaces, quality-control documentation, and two government inspection hold points; shipment may not occur before government approval. All requirements must be completed and delivered within 180 calendar days of contract award. The solicitation states that award will be made to the lowest reasonably priced responsive and responsible offeror.
