Description
Natural Resources Canada is seeking a contractor to design, install, configure, integrate, maintain, and support electronic security systems across its Canadian facilities. The requirement covers access control, video management, and intrusion detection systems, including approximately 500 card readers and 500 cameras across more than 25 sites. Services include preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, 24/7 support and emergency response, system upgrades, testing and commissioning, technical support, replacement parts and equipment, asset and lifecycle management, cybersecurity controls, and service reporting. The contractor must support NRCan's hybrid cloud and on-premises environment and provide compatibility with deployed security equipment and platforms. Mandatory qualifications include relevant federal-government maintenance experience, five recent enterprise-scale design and installation projects, qualified personnel located in the National Capital Region, local service offices in specified Canadian provinces, 24/7 reception at each proposed service location, and current manufacturer-authorized certifications for at least three listed manufacturers. The contract has a 12-month base period beginning November 2, 2026, with an option for one additional one-year period. Amendment 002 identifies recurring Feenics licensing requirements supporting approximately 594 readers, eight cloud partitions, 49 Bosch intrusion integrations, visitor management, and associated Enterprise PLUS features. Amendment 003 states that no project drawings are provided.
