Description
The State of Tennessee seeks a contractor to design, fabricate, and install one original mural on an exterior wall at a welcome center. The mural should interpret and celebrate the music, culture, and historical legacy of Tina Turner and Sleepy John Estes, incorporating relevant historical narratives, community figures, landmarks, events, and musical points of interest. The design must include a state-provided QR code. The contractor must provide preliminary renderings for review and allow up to three rounds of revisions before final approval; production and installation require written state approval of the final artwork. The scope includes preparing the wall, confirming its surface material, providing any necessary access equipment, applying appropriate protective coatings, and completing cleanup and photo documentation. The quote must cover the listed line items, including design, labor, materials, equipment if needed, final coating, and cleanup. Respondents must submit a mural sketch and at least one PDF sample of prior outdoor mural artwork. The state will award one contract covering all line items.
