Description
Dyer County School System is updating its Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan, as required by the American Rescue Plan Act. The addendum covers health and safety strategies including accommodations for children with disabilities, physical distancing, hand washing, cleaning and ventilation, contact tracing, diagnostic testing, vaccinations, and mask wearing. The LEA has engaged stakeholders through administrative meetings, teacher and parent advisory groups, and school board meetings, and continues to consult with the local health department. The plan must be posted publicly and approved by the local board.
