Description
The Université du Québec à Montréal is seeking a contractor to drill and install 10 observation wells as part of a groundwater knowledge-acquisition project. The wells will support characterization of geological formations and monitoring of piezometric water-level changes. Work will be performed at locations designated by the university representative, where agreements with property owners will already be in place. Sites will be accessible to a truck-mounted rotary drilling rig. The wells are distributed across Laval Island, Montréal Island, Île Perrot, and Montréal’s South Shore, including Boucherville and Longueuil. The estimated contract period is three months.
