Description
Merced County is soliciting bids for 10 new, current-production SUVs: four mid-size all-wheel-drive SUVs, four compact front-wheel-drive SUVs, and two compact or mid-size all-wheel-drive SUVs. Vehicles must meet the stated requirements for gasoline engines, automatic transmissions, safety equipment, colors, seating, interior features, warranties, and standard equipment. Required equipment must be installed before delivery, and bidders must identify any dealer-installed equipment and provide an itemized exceptions page. Bidders must upload a vehicle specification sheet for each vehicle being bid. The awarded bidder must deliver and invoice at least one vehicle and at least two vehicles, as specified for the applicable categories, no later than December 18, 2026. Vehicles are subject to inspection and must be new, undamaged, and in good operating condition. The bid also includes insurance requirements that apply before contract performance, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation coverage.
