Description
The U.S. Embassy in Bogotá is soliciting a contractor to operate a food-services program for approximately 14 Marine Security Guards at the Marine Security Guard Residence. The scope includes menu planning, food sourcing and provisioning, preparation and service of approximately 21 to 36 meals per day, food storage, beverages, dietary accommodations, kitchen and dining-area cleaning, dishwashing, inventory management, and customer service. Services are performed daily throughout the year during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service periods. The contractor must provide management, supervision, labor, logistics, training, transportation, quality control, food-safety procedures, HACCP planning, reporting, and required licenses and permits. The contractor must designate an on-site supervisor and provide a qualified MSG Detachment Cook with at least three years of food-services management experience. The contract has a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods, and the Government will evaluate offers on a lowest-priced, technically acceptable basis. The contractor must also provide a strategic work plan, equipment and supply information, quality and risk-management plans, past-performance information, and required representations and certifications.
