Description
The U.S. Coast Guard requires one replacement OEM tow line for USCGC Seneca. The requested item is a Samson Rope AmSteel-Blue synthetic-fiber tow line, specified as a custom assembly measuring 1-1/2 inches by 1,200 feet, orange, with a 4-foot Cor-Gard-covered eye at one end and a hot-dip-galvanized thimble at the other end. Substitutions will not be considered, and only Samson Rope Technologies, LLC products or authorized vendors are acceptable. The contractor must provide and ship the tow line FOB destination, provide product or service details, a product data sheet, warranty information, and a detailed cost breakdown showing unit cost, extended price, total price, payment terms, and any prompt-payment discount. The quotation must confirm the ability to meet the required delivery date. A valid OEM Letter of Authorization is encouraged with the quotation and must be provided before award if requested. The procurement is a total small-business set-aside and will be evaluated on specification, price, past performance, quality, and responsibility.
