Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for fiscal year 2027 commercial telecommunications infrastructure, network connectivity, and equipment supporting secured data networks, telecommunications trunking, mission-critical network routing, operational connectivity, safety communications, and regional facility network integration. The notice identifies AT&T Corporation as the sole provider able to meet the requirement through its existing network grid, physical infrastructure, and specialized secure facility interface hardware; alternative carriers would require a custom infrastructure buildout. This is a notice of intent to sole source, not a competitive request for proposals. Interested firms may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation demonstrating that they can provide an identical, off-the-shelf commercial telecommunications network and infrastructure. Responses will be considered at the agency’s discretion.
