Description
The Virgin Islands Port Authority is soliciting bids from qualified and licensed janitorial firms to provide daily cleaning and sanitation services at three marine passenger facilities: Urman Victor Fredericks (Red Hook) Marine Facility in St. Thomas, Loredon Boynes (Cruz Bay) Marine Terminal, and Theovald Eric Moorehead (Enighed Pond) Marine Terminal in St. John. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, transportation, and one custodian per shift; the Authority will provide cleaning supplies and equipment. Required work includes cleaning and disinfecting common areas, offices, ticket booths, docks, floors, restrooms, fixtures, mirrors, and exterior areas; emptying trash; monitoring spills; and restocking dispensers. Services are scheduled seven days per week with facility-specific shifts. The contractor must also comply with applicable laws, maintain required licenses, and display compliant uniforms. The contract term is one year, with one one-year renewal option. Bidders must submit daily rates for each of the three facilities and provide a cover letter, experience with up to five comparable commercial projects completed within the last three years, and information about available qualified personnel. Required supporting materials include business licensing, insurance documentation, organizational documents, a corporate resolution, good-standing documentation, and government insurance documentation.
