The Université du Québec à Chicoutimi is seeking professional architectural services to study and design a new annex, provisionally named CURAL 2, connected to its existing Centre universitaire de recherche sur l’aluminium facilities. The proposed building would have an approximate gross area of 1,500 square metres and accommodate a significant portion of the scientific equipment, with spaces suited to fundamental research, research and development, and graduate-level training in aluminum-related fields. The estimated contract period is 24 months. This is an open, competitive Request for Proposal conducted in French under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement.
