Description
Upper Township is soliciting sealed bids for reconstruction of Klains Lane under the FY2025 and FY2026 New Jersey Department of Transportation Municipal Aid Program. Bids must use the standard proposal forms contained in the bid documents and comply with applicable New Jersey public-works requirements, including prevailing wage, affirmative action, contractor registration, business registration, stockholder disclosure, and subcontractor-list requirements. Each bid must include a Consent of Surety and either a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check for at least 10% of the bid amount, with the check capped at $20,000. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond for the full contract amount. The Township reserves the right to reject bids or waive informalities, and award is contingent on lawful funding.
