This Sources Sought notice seeks information from qualified sources capable of performing a comprehensive, off-site Dry-Docking Selected Restricted Availability for the non-self-propelled YRBM-25 repair, berthing, and messing barge. The anticipated availability will last approximately six to eight months and includes dry-docking and undocking, underwater hull inspection and preservation, structural steel repairs and renewals, internal void and tank work, associated piping and systems repairs, surface preparation, testing, quality control, and emergent or growth work. The contractor would also be responsible for planning and executing transportation of the barge from Apra Harbor, Guam, to its proposed repair facility and returning it after Government acceptance to a designated Pacific port within 1,500 nautical miles of Apra Harbor. The notice requests information about the proposed repair facility, dry-dock capacity, relevant ship-repair experience, transportation method and capability, facility availability, risks, teaming or subcontracting arrangements, and other factors relevant to acquisition planning. Responses are limited to 20 pages, excluding supporting facility information and standard company literature, and must use the specified subject line.
