Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a Sources Sought notice—not a solicitation or request for pricing—for one new commercial flight-type pot, pan, and utensil washer, brand name or equal to the Hobart PW20. The equipment must sanitize at high temperatures, accommodate full-size pans or a large mixing bowl, operate on 208–240 V, 60 Hz, three-phase power, and meet specified throughput, water-use, capacity, safety, sanitation, and physical-fit requirements. Used, refurbished, gray-market, and counterfeit equipment is prohibited. The anticipated turnkey scope includes furnishing and delivering the equipment; removing and disposing of the existing unit; providing all ancillary installation materials; installing, anchoring, connecting, starting up, commissioning, and testing the washer; providing on-site operator training and accessible training materials; supplying operation and maintenance manuals and as-installed diagrams; and providing at least a one-year parts-and-labor warranty with authorized service support. Respondents must provide capability information, including relevant experience, OEM authorization or reseller status, service coverage, lead time, warranty capability, and applicable socioeconomic status. Hobart offerings require a signed OEM authorization letter on Hobart letterhead confirming authorization to supply and service the equipment.
