Description
This Request for Information seeks information from companies capable of manufacturing the Engine Inlet Bellmouth Housing, Male, Part Number 4106AS0275, a molded component of the MQ-4C Triton Engine Inlet Bellmouth Assembly. The housing must be cast using high-impact polyurethane in accordance with the Navy's Technical Data Package, including 3D CAD data file 3673310M01110-11, which is available upon request from the contract specialist. If the requirement is later procured, the Navy expects to provide the existing part mold as Government Furnished Equipment during the period of performance. Responses must describe company experience and capabilities in designing and manufacturing similar molded items, technical design, engineering, and manufacturing processes, and a non-binding rough-order-of-magnitude cost and schedule for quantities of 1, 5–10, and 20 or more. The response is an RFI only and is not a request for proposals or a commitment to award a contract. Written responses must be in PDF format, limited to 10 pages, with product specifications and sketches excluded from the page limit.
