Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is conducting a sources-sought inquiry for restoration work involving mold and moisture within a wall assembly. The scope includes demolition and installation of new gypsum board, insulation replacement, reinstallation of the existing air-conditioning unit, and application of antimicrobial treatment to floors and other affected surfaces. Required work includes containment barriers and decontamination chambers, negative-air filtration or air-scrubbing, dehumidification, protective coverings, HEPA vacuuming, air cycling, cleaning of walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, fixtures, and exposed items, and compliance with applicable OSHA and IICRC standards. The stated period of performance is 10 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. This is a sources-sought notice, not a request for quotation.
