Description
HOPE Services Hawaii, Inc. is soliciting proposals from a Hawaii-based CPA firm with significant nonprofit experience to perform its annual financial statement audit for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2026; prepare management and representation letters; audit federal awards in accordance with 2 CFR 200; review debt service transactions and obligations; prepare Federal Forms 990 and 990-T and state income tax returns; and provide occasional accounting advice regarding accounting issues and governmental requirements. The proposal must include an executive summary of no more than five pages, the firm's qualifications and audit approach, engagement-team information, staffing and continuity plans, schedule, detailed pricing and cost schedules for financial and tax services, billing practices, transition impacts, and similar nonprofit client references with contact information. A signed certification form is required, along with a copy of the firm's most recent peer review. Audited financial statements and the management letter must be delivered no later than April 15, 2027. HOPE may require selected firms to make an oral presentation.
