Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires the replacement of 18 UPS batteries across multiple server rooms at the Winston-Salem Regional Office. The existing EATON Blade UPS units need replacement batteries, specifically the BBP-AR-33-6KRM model, which is a 6kVA/6kW, 120/208Y 3-phase rack-mount UPS. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of old batteries, complete installation of new UPS batteries, calibration, and synchronization of the system to recognize the new batteries. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary tools, equipment, labor, and transportation. A one-year warranty on all installed UPS units, including full replacement cost, is required. A contracted preventative maintenance plan will be initiated within the last three months of the warranty. All parts must be manufactured and delivered by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
