Description
NAVFAC Hawaii is conducting sources-sought market research for programmable logic controllers, distributed input/output modules, and OEM-native programming and configuration software that meet or exceed the capabilities of the Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 5580 PLC, Allen-Bradley Flex 5000 I/O modules, and Studio 5000 software suite. The Government is evaluating comparable products for compatibility with an existing SCADA system, cybersecurity and lifecycle-support requirements, EtherNet/IP integration, and possible sole-source justification. The proposed platform must be modular, expandable, microprocessor-based, and capable of analog and binary I/O, diagnostics, nonvolatile program storage, online modifications, distributed I/O, hot-swappable modules, and automatic primary/secondary controller failover. It must support redundant controller synchronization, integration with existing PLCs and legacy panels, industrial Ethernet communications, and an integrated OEM software environment without third-party bridging tools. Respondents must submit technical data, specifications, and company information in a typed Adobe PDF response using at least 11-point Times New Roman, single-sided 8.5-by-11-inch pages; company brochures should not be submitted.
