Description
The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is soliciting bids to renovate one home in Rogers County. The work includes drywall and finish, electrical work, painting and finish, and thermal protection, in accordance with the work write-up. The project must be completed within 30 working days; extensions are subject to a $100-per-working-day charge. Bidders must complete the mandatory bid response form, visit the job site, and submit the required Indian preference, employment and training, subcontracting preference, and core crew information. Indian preference is available to bidders providing current Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office certification. The solicitation also requires compliance with applicable HUD bidding and construction conditions, wage rates, and other responsibility requirements. Insurance certificates and other listed documentation are required from the successful bidder after award, not with the initial bid.
