Description
The City of Oklahoma City is soliciting a contractor to maintain the Oklahoma River corridor from Meridian Avenue to First Americans Boulevard. Work includes removing obstructions, trash, debris, trees, and undesirable vegetation; cutting vegetation monthly to six inches or less; maintaining vegetation along riprapped areas, tributaries, bridge crossings, and specified rights-of-way; and applying herbicides to control undesirable growth. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, transportation, and incidentals; hold Oklahoma Department of Agriculture certification and licensing for aquatic and right-of-way pest control; comply with applicable pesticide, NPDES, and traffic-control requirements; maintain herbicide application records; and submit monthly spray reports. The maintenance period begins with a written work order and continues for 12 months. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required, and the bid requires five-percent bid security.
