Description
Santé Québec Laurentides is conducting a request for information to identify available specimen radiography equipment. The requested system must accommodate breast specimens, provide 1.5× and 2.0× geometric magnification, include radiation shielding and door interlocking during X-ray emission, and provide a color display with at least 2.3 megapixels of resolution. The system should also include automatic exposure control, image-viewing and basic image-processing tools, image quality sufficient to visualize microcalcifications and important anatomical structures in biopsy specimens, DICOM-format images, access to prior images through PACS, compact and maneuverable construction for operating-room use, and a minimum resolution of 7 lp/mm without magnification. Interested suppliers must submit a description demonstrating compliance with the requirements, supporting documents or brochures, and a list of current references.
