Description
The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking a pre-qualified architectural firm to provide design development, assistance with contract documents and tender development, and construction and contract administration for renovations at Chesterville Public School. The scope includes replacing and upgrading HVAC ventilation and particulate filtration to a minimum MERV 13 standard; designing an approximately 48 kW DC net-metered solar photovoltaic array; reviewing electrical loading and determining whether a primary-feed upgrade is required, including an estimate if needed; replacing roofing materials on roof section A; and preparing Class D and Class B cost estimates. The anticipated construction tender publication date is January 29, 2027, with construction scheduled to start June 28, 2027, and substantial completion scheduled for August 28, 2027.
