Description
East Texas A&M University is seeking a qualified vendor to provide, install, stock, operate, maintain, and remove one or more temperature-controlled wellness vending machines. Machines must dispense over-the-counter medications, emergency contraception, at-home STI and respiratory testing kits, women's health products, and other wellness items. The solution must protect purchase privacy, support flexible product compartments, accommodate university/vendor co-branding, and provide secure, reliable service. The vendor will be responsible for all equipment, products, installation, stocking, maintenance, removal, staffing, marketing, administrative overhead, reporting, and related costs. The machines must support the University's Transact Campus (Illumia) card system and standard credit/debit payments, comply with PCI DSS and applicable privacy laws, and operate under a commission-based financial structure with zero acquisition, installation, stocking, maintenance, or removal costs to the University. The initial contract term is one year with four additional one-year renewal options. Required proposal materials include signed and completed solicitation forms, experience and qualifications, company information, at least three references, pricing and commission information, a technical and management narrative, co-branding sample visuals, and any applicable addenda or HUB subcontracting plan.
