The U.S. Air Force is seeking an SBIR contractor to design a complete, low-cost multifunction Ku-band RF system for prompt-strike weapons through Critical Design Review (CDR) maturity. The system is intended for small airborne platforms operating in demanding high-subsonic regimes, described as peak velocities greater than Mach 3 but below Mach 5. The system must fit within a 6-inch interior-diameter cylinder, support conformal or forward mounting, conform to the WOSA Seeker Domain interface specification, and incorporate imaging-radar, passive direction-finding, and height-of-burst fuze-sensing modes.
