Description
The University of Northern British Columbia, for the National Collaborating Centre for Indigenous Health, is seeking one or two contractors to provide two instructors for a three-day, in-person skills development workshop for Community Health Representatives. The instructors must have experience in Indigenous public health, adult education, and community-based health service delivery. The workshop will serve up to 30 participants and must include at least 18 combined instructional hours, with demonstrations, simulations, case-based learning, and culturally safe, trauma-informed, and inclusive facilitation. The contractor must review the Community Health Representative curriculum, develop and deliver the workshop, participate in planning and post-training evaluations, travel to the Canadian training location, and submit teaching materials for approval. Mandatory qualifications include at least five years of relevant public, community, or Indigenous health experience; experience with First Nations, Inuit, or Métis communities; adult education or professional training experience; strong facilitation and communication skills; and willingness to travel in Canada. Proposals are limited to 25 pages and must include instructor curricula vitae, qualifications and experience, three to six relevant references, a timeline, and pricing covering labor, expenses, travel, overhead, hourly rates, per diems, and a fixed fee.
