Description
The City of Chicago Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) Homeless Services Division is seeking applications from organizations to operate a shelter program that will serve families with minor children and single adults experiencing homelessness at location(s) proposed by the applicant. The shelter program will support family and single households in moving to appropriate and stable permanent housing while providing them a safe, accessible place to stay in the interim. DFSS is specifically seeking applicants to meet the shelter needs of those fleeing domestic violence, and families with specialized needs. This is the third release of RFP #53646 - Expanded Shelter, initially issued in April 2025, which sought applicants to take over shelter operations for two standing shelter locations: Midway Shelter to serve singles and South D...
