Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting a single contractor for a four-month debris-management project in Deir ez-Zor, Syria, consisting of one month of preparation and three months of implementation. The scope includes recruiting and managing approximately 100 workers, supervisors, and supervisory committee members; supplying personal protective equipment, tools, uniforms, safety materials, and related equipment; renting a suitable venue for a project introductory event; collecting, sorting, loading, weighing, transporting, and disposing of approximately 175,000 metric tons of debris at an approved landfill; cleaning work sites; and providing required documentation, reporting, health and safety controls, and community engagement. The contractor must provide three bobcats, five large loaders, 27 dump trucks, fuel, maintenance, drivers, insurance, worker transportation, offices and storage facilities, and qualified civil engineers and health-and-safety officers. The bid requires a technical offer, price schedule, eligibility and qualification materials, financial statements, relevant experience evidence, machinery ownership or rental documentation, key-personnel CVs, and the prescribed bidding forms. Electronic submission is through the supplier portal, with the original bid security also required by mail or courier. The bid security is USD 6,000, and performance security is required in the amount of the offered goods.
