Description
The National Institutes of Health intends to issue a purchase order not to exceed $900,000 for FDA-approved radiopharmaceuticals used for patient care by the Nuclear Medicine Division within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the NIH Clinical Center. The required products include radiopharmaceuticals emitting gamma, positron, beta, and/or alpha radiation. This is a notice of intent to sole source, not a request for quotations; no solicitation will be issued and quotations will not be requested. The agency identifies Cardinal Health 414, LLC as the only acceptable supplier because of its comprehensive product range, FDA and U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission vetting, 25 years of prior contracting history, and patented tungsten delivery system for high-energy positron radiopharmaceuticals.
